New Owners

A while ago Todd and I made a decision that we needed to start saving up and looking for a new car. Both are cars are relativly old. Mine a 1997 Mazda Protege and his a 1988 Buick. They've been good to us, but it was clear we needed something a little more reliable. We were thinking about just getting a new bigger car. After we found out we were pregnant we decided we should get something that our family could grow into rather then something that we'll more than likely grow out of in a few years or so.

With that started our search for a mini-van. We're been saving and looking for quite a while. We've been taking our time to find just the right car. We didn't want to rush in anything so we've just been taking our time. Well a few weeks ago Todd's car started acting up so we thought we should start looking a little more. Before we didn't really have a timeline, but now we knew his car was more than like going to give out on us a little sooner then planned!

This past weekend we found a deal close by and decided to go take a look. Todd loved the car. I liked it too, but big purchases make me nervous so I'll admit Todd was a little more enthused then me! After going back and forth on some offers we become new owners of Chrysler TOwn and Country! We've only been driving it for a day but are loving it so far. Everett enjoys being able to sit up high and see out the windows. I like that it's not a stick shift:) It has built in DVD players, heated seats, leather seats, automatic doors. It's alot nicer then what we've been driving around lately! I've loved my Mazada and am going to miss driving it on a daily basis, but this is a nice change. It's kinda weird to think 7 years ago my mom bought the Mazada while I was a senior and now I've moved to a mini van. My how life changes!

36 Weeks

As of last Sunday we were 36 weeks along! Only 4 more to go. We went to the doctor today and everything is looking great. The baby's heartbeat is 142 and I'm measuring right on track. I've been horrible at updating this pregnancy, but it feels like the time has just slipped by. Which I honestly can't complain cause I have a feeling the next 4 weeks wont go by too fast :) I'm just starting to get uncomfortable. I have a hard time picking things up and chasing after Everett. Which he is catching onto that one. There are nights when I can't sleep at all and others where I pass out way early. So far there has been no swelling! So much better than last time. Being pregnant during the winter sure helps in that sense. I've been bummed I haven't been able to walk like last time, but I'd take the no swelling any day. Thankfully it hasn't been too warm here yet cause anytime it starts to get remotely warm I can feel my feet getting larger! Anyway...only a few more weeks! We're excited to meet this little girl and have her in our home!

Warmer Weather is Finally Coming

We've had a LONG winter here in Idaho. We'd get little teasers of warmth and then it'd go back to being cold and windy. This past weekend it seemed as though we're finally starting to get some spring weather. So we took full advantage and went to the park. We had such a fun time going as a family. Everett of course LOVED being able to run around.

He loved climbing up the slide and then going back down. He's improved a lot since last fall when he did not want to go down at all!

This slide was a little bigger then the other and every time it'd catch his breath! But he kept going back for more :)

Todd was letting him swing on his lap, but of course he had to do it all by himself!
