Hair Cut

Everett got a much needed hair cut this week. It started out as a trim, but ended up a full on cut! His hair grows super fast and had gotten really long. When I could I'd try and trim up the back cause it was beginning to resemble a mullet. Friday night Todd was giving him a bath and tried trimming up his bangs cause they're always falling in his eyes. By the time his hair dried what he thought had been straight wasn't quite that! His front was so crooked. We contemplated what to do to fix it. So Saturday morning we decided to pull out the razor....

Not too bad! It's a lot shorter, but Todd did a good job for his first time:)

It's A....

GIRL

We went to the doctor today and our ultrasound tech is 98% sure we're having a girl! The little girl was being stubborn like her brother was and wouldn't move at all! She'd barely spread her legs so we could get a picture to know for sure, but the tech found her "girl" parts. But if the 2% does come through at least we already have a lot of boy clothes! I had to move around to see if she'd move, but to no avail she stayed content were she was. We could barely get a profile picture too. Seriously this is the same thing that happened with Everett. So it was kinda funny. We're pretty excited though. It'll be fun to have a little girl to dress up and for Everett to take care of! She's going to be our little Jacquelyn Nicole and we can't wait to meet her!

20 Weeks

Since we're halfway through the pregnancy I thought I should give a little update. It's funny how things change after the first kid. This one is exciting, and we are very excited, but it's as though I don't have the drive to do everything I did with Everett. Or maybe it's just that I don't think about it like I did with Everett. I use to take a picture every 4 weeks to see my belly grow. Not this time around! I guess you could say my minds a little preoccupied this time around.

Everything is going pretty well. We've been to two Doctor's appointments and the baby seems pretty healthy. I've gotten over the morning sickness stage. It ended a lot earlier, but started a lot earlier, then Everett. Which is honestly really nice. It's nice to be able to cook a meal and not worry if it's gonna stay down or not :) This baby moves a lot like Everett. Especially when I'm sitting or bent over. I must be crushing it or something! I've been trying to feel him with my hand, but every time I put my hand on my stomach he stops.

Nothing else real exciting has happened. I feel as though this pregnancy is going a lot faster. Like I said before I have a lot more things preoccupying my mind this time. Everett can keep your mind off anything that's for sure! We try to tell him he's going to be a big brother, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't understand any of it. Todd tells him he's going to have a baby brother, but we shall see. We actually go in tomorrow to find out what we're having. I'm putting a poll up so go take a guess and we'll see how many people are right! I honestly have no clue what this one will be. With Everett I just felt like it was a boy. But with this one it keeps going back and forth. So we shall see tomorrow!

Just Like Mom

Everett likes to mimic people. When he sees you doing something more than likely he's going to copy. Like sweeping the floor, changing the channels, using the tools, and so on. Well the other day I heard some clicking and couldn't figure out what he was. I went to find it and low and behold this is what I found:

Everett using my flat iron. He was put it to the top on his head and pulling it down like I do! I've noticed him stand and watch me before but never thought anything of it. Silly kid.
