I finally found our cds with our old pictures on them. So I thought I'd try and see who Everett looks like. They're not the best pictures, but the best I could found out of what we had.
I'm not sure how old Todd and I are in these pictures. Everett is a month old. There are some pictures where I can see me in Everett and some where I see Todd. We think he's just a really good mix of the two of us.
I was trying to find one of us where we were newborns. This is the best! I'm screaming and you can barely see my face. The only other one of mine, my brother Scott was holding me and half my face was covered. So this one will have to do.

2 Months Old
Everett's two months old today! He's getting so big and is changing everyday. We go in for his two month check up next week so I don't know his stats yet. I do know that as of 3 weeks ago he was already 10 pounds and 21 1/2 inches long. So it'll be interesting to see how much he's grown since then.
We are still loving his different expressions. It's fun now cause he's really starting to learn our voices and is able to distinguish other people. When he hears a new voice his eyes get real big and you can tell he's trying to see where it's coming from. When we do something goofy, or just something with him, he sometimes gives us this look like "these are my parents". It's pretty funny.
He is smiling more and more everyday. I especially love that now he smiles at us, not just the wall! He'll look and when we talk he'll start to smile, sometimes he'll respond with some noises. He is getting very vocal! We bought him a little play mat and when he leave him on there we can hear him making all sorts of noises.
He loves playing. Well, I guess his way of playing:) When we have him on the floor he is constantly moving. His legs never stop kicking. He's going to be a busy body when he gets mobile.
I love when this little boy sleeps. He just looks so precious. He can fall alseep in the most awkward positions. Sometimes when I get ready for work I set him in the corner of the couch. I'll come back and he's passed out. I will admit on most days he can fall asleep pretty quickly. Just need his pacifier and a blanket. Once the blanket's over his head his eyes start closing!
We have been loving every minute with Everett. Two months have already gone pretty quickly! I keep thinking that I can't wait till he gets bigger and more active, but we're truly enjoying the stage he's at cause we know it'll most likely be over soon.

Update
Since all I pretty much talk about anymore is Everett I thought I should give a little update on Todd and I. Todd's excited cause I no longer take a ton of pictures of him anymore! I now have someone else!
Parent life so far has been pretty fun. We have our good and bad days, but we are slowly learning and understanding what we need to do. The fun part is that when I feel we have started to learn what Everett wants and needs it changes!! It seems as though there's never a dull moment. Our life has changed is some ways, but for the better:)
Todd is back working with me at Potato Products. They have moved him from the line to an operator! Although he doesn't care for it as much. He thinks it's even more boring then working on the line was. I'm pretty sure he's ready for school to start back up. It's a little better than making twice baked potatoes all day:)
Since we've been married Todd has been having problems with his ankles, but it has gotten a lot worse in the past year. He bought some braces thinking it would help, but no such luck. He finally broke down and went to a doctor this summer, but he couldn't find anything. He told Todd he'd probably have to go to a podiatrist. Well, a few weeks ago it started hurting him so bad that he could barely walk. He was pretty much wobbling around our apartment! So once again he finally broke down and decided to go see a podiatrist. When he went the doctor could see inflammation, some problems with his tendons but he couldn't give a straight answer on what was wrong. So he gave Todd a walking boot in hopes that it would help heal whatever was wrong. He gets to wear it for 3 weeks and then go back in to see if it helped. If that doesn't then it seems as though they'll have to take more drastic measures. So we're hoping everything will be ok after the boot comes off.
I am now back to work. Some days it's nice to be back, but other times I wish I was still home. Lucky for me though Everett gets to come with me. It's been really nice. So I'm still able to work and spend time with my baby. He's pretty good. Now that he's getting to where he likes to be on the floor for longer periods has helped tons!
I'm enjoying being a mom. Sometimes I can't remember what it was like before. Todd's been good and lets me get out while he stays with Everett. I'm starting to learn how to do things one handed and my left hand is getting better at things! I just noticed today that I'm getting real good at eating with my left hand. I've noticed that no matter what I wear by the end of the day I have either drool marks or stains from his milk on my shirt. I use to think I HAD to have a certain amount of sleep to function, but surprisingly enough I can have 4-5 hours of sleep and I function just as well as I do with 8. I now know why a lot of moms chop their hair off after having a baby. I've contemplated it, but I'm holding out. I've realized my hair is a lot easier to manage while it's long then when it's short. So I'm just going to have to deal with him pulling on it!
These past two months have been amazing to say the least. I never realized how much a little person could truly change you. I love being around Everett and I especially love when Todd interacts with him. It's so fun to see them together. Todd is a great dad and an amazing husband. He knows when I get frustrated and helps take over. Raising Everett is truly a team effort.
Now that we're back into our normal routines we're just enjoying every minute. Well, maybe not every minute:) But we're having a fun time starting our little family and creating some pretty fun memories!

Pumpkin Patch
I have been looking for a pumpkin patch, but have had no luck. Back home there's places you can go and they have cute things set up where you could take pictures. I've been wanting to get a cute picture of Everett for the fall. I've asked everyone at work. I've googled it. Nothing. I have found pumpkin fields though. When Todd and I lived in Denver we went out to a pumpkin field and it was huge! But they had little decorations set up where you could take pictures. So I was thinking we could do something like that.
Well, I found a place in St. Anthony. Called the guy. He made it sound like it was a pretty decent place. So I got our neighbors to go out with us on Saturday. I was excited. I got us dressed up so we could take a little family picture. I even got Todd to wear one of his nice shirts! So I was pumped. As we get to the field I can tell it was nothing like I thought it was going to be. I think it was this guys garden and he sold the pumpkins. He told me people come and take pictures. Who knows maybe I misunderstood him! There was a row or two of pumpkins and that was it. The rest was tomatoes! I felt so bad and disappointed. There went my picture idea.
There was a house across the street that had a little white fence. So we went over there to take pictures. I thought the background would look a little fallish. Stupid me, I had been messing with the camera and changed the settings so the pictures came out horrible. On our way up we passed a straw maze, so we stopped there on our way back home and took a quick picture.

Our Little Teddy Bear
While my parents were here they found this cute little bear outfit. I'm not sure if it's suppose to be a sleeper, but they bought it with the intent that we'd put it over his clothes to keep him warm when it starts getting cold out. Last Monday it snowed so I thought I'd bring it out. He looked soooo cute! I love it.

How Could I Be Upset
Last Friday night we had a rough night with Everett. He usually does pretty well, but for some reason he wanted to just stay up. He kept walking up I swear every hour. I knew he wasn't hungry. So I'd try to play with him think it'd wear him out. Finally around 5 or so I told Todd it was his turn. He stayed with him for about an hour and tried to put him to sleep. I'm not sure what time it was but he finally just brought him in with us. He woke up at 7 again. So I propped my knees up and had him lay against them. I started telling him how he kept us up all night and I all I wanted to do was sleep. As I was talking to him this is what I got:

He's just so dang cute. You can't be frustrated with him for very long! Luckily those nights don't happen very often! Here's a video we took of him laughing and smiling again. I love it. It's a little long!
Sunday Dress
I always thought that you could really only have fun dressing little girls, but boy was I wrong. I've had so much fun dressing Everett up. Especially on Sundays. My sister sent us some of the clothes her boys used, and I love them! They're still a little big for Everett, but he looks so handsome.
