One of my favorite things is listening to Todd and Everett play. I know I've probably said it before, but Todd can get him to laugh so hard! Tonight he was tossing him in the air and Everett was having a blast. There's just something about a dad and his son. Everett loves his dad too. When Todd walks in he'll just smile and stare at him. I can't get enough of watching them together.

7 Months
Everett turned 7 months on Sunday. He is growing so fast. Here's what's been going on the past month.
He's 15.8 pounds and 26 inches long.
He's gained more weight this month than he has the past two!
He now has 6 teeth. 2 on top and 4 on the bottom.

So close to crawling. He has the rocking and scooting backwards down.
He is still loving his peas and green beans. More so then most of the fruits.
He finally started liking his baths again. After some trial and error we got him laughing again!
He is a babbler! Talks all the time.
LOVES attention.

He does not like to be left alone. When I walk to go somewhere he'll follow where I go until he can't see me and then starts crying :)

Worn Out
For the past couple weeks the weather has gradually been getting nicer and nicer. I've taken Everett on a few walks, but due to it still being a little chilly he wasn't too fond of them.
Yesterday was beautiful. The weather felt great and the sun was shinning. So I decided we'd try taking a walk again. We got together with our neighbors, Jessie and Dulany, and set out. Everett loved it. He'd look over at Dulany in her stroller and then go back to spitting. He started to get a little fussy about halfway through so I gave him a snack. The next time I really look down at him he's passed out. His snack squished all over and his head hanging. I tried lowering the seat back, but it woke him, so I left him as is. He was pretty cute. Cute enough for me to call Todd and tell him to bring the camera down.
I just wanted to leave him he looked so content.

Teething
For about the past 4 months I have been told that Everett is going to get teeth anytime. At his 4 month checkup the doctor even thought he was getting teeth. He drooled constantly, and was always chewing on things. Well, he finally has teeth! He has two on the bottom and his two vang teeth are coming in up top. Todd has been calling him our vampire baby!
I've learned that there is some good and bad when it comes to teething. The good...he's getting teeth. The bad...he's teething...he's cranky...he wont sleep well....he's gotten the worst diaper rash...Honestly I'm ready for the teething stage to be over, but I've been told that it's only just begun:)
Everett's usually a pretty happy baby. Everyone usually comments how he's always smiling. This is the baby we've come to know and love:

And this is the baby that has been residing with us for the past few weeks:

At least he's still cute! No, I feel bad for him cause I can tell he hurts. It's been getting a lot better. Especially as we've been learning what works and what really doesn't. We try to go and see how far the teeth have come and he gets tight lipped. If we even get close to his mouth with our hands he starts to tighten them. His bottom two are pretty noticeable now. He's even starting to learn how to use them. I gave him an apple slice the other day and he bit off a chunk!
The past couple weeks have made all 3 of us a little irritable. Maybe myself more than others:) Like I've said before Everett's a really good baby. So when he's really fussy, or just not feeling good Todd and I kinda have a hard time cause we sometimes don't know what to do. We are learning! With a few close to sleepless nights and rough day, we still can't get enough of him, teething and all.
