I made it back from my trip home. It was a blast and too short as usual. I got in early Friday morning and was able to spend the day hanging out with my mom and sister. Saturday was our busy day. My mom and I spent the morning getting things ready for dinner that night. We cleaned, baked a cake, headed to sams, dipped strawberries. Then we headed to Baden's Baptism. I loved watching Baden's face and how it would light up. You could tell how excited he was.
The rest of the weekend was just spent hanging out with family. Saturday and Sunday nights my mom and I stayed up late watching movies. We were able to go shopping and get some maternity tops. My mom also got the baby this really cute night gown. We now have two things in the closet! It's exciting!
Then Monday came. It was bittersweet. I was really ready to see Todd, but I still wanted to stay. It's always hard to leave. The weekend came and went, but I'm so glad I got to go. It was just nice being with family, even if only for a few days.

Much Needed Break
Well, I'm going home.
Tomorrow.
Just for the weekend.
It's my nephew's baptism.
Much much needed break.
Wish Todd were coming.
I already miss him.
Hasta La Vista Cold Weather.
Hello Texas....

Fun Filled Weekend
Well, I'm a little late, but I'm finally getting around to posting about our weekend. One of my good friends, from home, came up from Provo to visit. She got in Friday and we were able to hang out with her the whole weekend. I think I realized that what we think is a good time, isn't quite a good time for a single girl! Friday we just had dinner and hung out watching Dirty Jobs, or something. Well, she was probably excited that she had plans to go out later cause I passed out while watching TV. Yeah I know I'm a good host. At least Todd was able to stay up and be a good host! Anyway... Saturday we were able to go do a session at the temple. Which was awesome. Then there was this flea market thing going on on campus so we went and checked it out. After walking around a few times we went and walked over to the school Bookstore. Luckily the weather was AMAZING. I could've stayed outside all day. Later we just ran some errands and headed back home so she could catch up with some more friends.
That night Jen invited us to go to Guitars Unplugged. I'll admit I was a little hesitant. It didn't start till 8, and lately between 8 and 9 is when I start getting ready for bed. But she went and bought the tickets and I had no choice. I'm glad we ended up going though. It was pretty good and we had a fun time. Surprisingly enough I wasn't even tired! I guess if I just push myself a little I can do a lot more things than I thought! Then once again we came home and I feel asleep on the couch.
It probably doesn't sound like we did much, but honestly we did a lot more than we have been doing the past couple weeks. I'm finally getting to the point where I don't worry that I might smell something and want to vomit. Everything still smells gross, but atleast there isn't anything following it up. It was fun hangin out with Jen and talking. It reminded me of when we were in high school and before she went on her mission. We use to have a girls night and eat pizza and ice cream and watch some Heath Ledger movie. Usually A Knights Tale. And dream about boys and our wedding. Ahhh...the good old days. It's just funny how fast everything can change. She left for her mission. A year later I'm married. Now we have the occasional getting together, but not like they use to be. Todd gets to join in this time. I'm sure he loved toting us around. It was fun though. I guess that's what comes along with growing up! But it's always nice seeing her no matter what.

16 Weeks
Well, I'm officially 16 weeks. Things are getting better. I'm slowly starting to feel somewhat normal again. I feel like I have so much more energy than I have had the past few months, which is awesome! I'm definitely getting bigger. Although I'm still able to fit into my own jeans thanks to rubberbands :) Hopefully it can stay that way a little while longer. With my body changing everything is becoming more real. Still can't feel anything, but I can finally see a difference now.
Here I am at 16 weeks:
And here is Todd at 16 weeks into our pregnancy:
We get to find out what we're having on April 6. So just a little less than a month. I'm pretty excited. We're putting up a poll to see what people think we're going to have. Todd thinks it's a boy. I'm not sure. I've had dreams that it's a girl, but I don't know I feel like it's a boy. Maybe Todd has just drilled it into my head. But we shall see for sure soon!

Quotables
While I'm finally getting back to writing Todd's quotes. They're from December, but it's better than nothin. I haven't been the best at remembering to write things down the past 3 months. I would try to remember some of the things he's said, but I get accused of making things up! So I thought I'd stick with what I had written and hopefully I'll be better in the future!
After seeing a commercial for BOD:
"I tried out for that commercial, but they told me I was too good looking." (12/6/08)
While jammin to his "booty mix" in the car, he turns to me and says:
"Shirley, I might be white on the outside but I have the soul of a black person." (12/17/08)
I said something to him one night and his response:
"Shirley, I might be rugged on the outside but on the inside I'm a sensitive person."
I can't remember where this came from, but all I remember is laughing after he said it.
"Shirley, you're so young and naive." (12/26/08)
He never ceases to amaze me. He surely does keep our relationship pretty fun and humorous.
