To Cut Or Not To Cut

Ok, so about 4 years ago I completely chopped off my hair. It was really short. So for the past four years it has been gradually growing back as I would often go and get it cut to keep it short. But now it's way long! It's almost as long as when I had it high school. But now I have a dilemma. I want to cut it short again. I found a cut I like, but I'm just nervous. If I didn't have curly hair I think I would just go and cut it, but that's what worries me. But as my mom, and now Todd, says "it's just hair"! I have an appointment set for Saturday so we'll see if I go through with it. I have a couple days to build up the courage! SO hopefully it'll happen!

Rexburg, Idaho Temple

When Todd and I first moved up to Rexburg we were able to go to the open house for the new Rexburg temple. It was beautiful. From the carpet to the chandeliers. When you're out at night you can see it illuminating from the hill. It's neat to have a temple so close. Living back in Coppell, the Dallas temple was about 25 minutes away, which is the closest I've been to a temple. But now we can drive up one street and be there within 5 minutes. If we didn't have a building right in front of us we would be able to see it right out our window, but we are able to see the Angel Moroni.

Yesterday was the first time I was able to go through, the temple, after it was dedicated. There's just a whole new feeling from the first time I went through. Once you walk in the doors is just peaceful. I love it. Part of you never wants to leave. I feel protected in there. But it makes me want to become a better person each and every day. I'm just excited for when Todd and I can go together!

Well, this is our very first blog. We thought it might be an easier way of keeping people posted on everything going on with us. So we'll see how it goes.
Hope everyone had a fantastic valentines day! We did. We had lasagna, a death by chocolate dessert, and then played some Phase10 dice, which I highly recommend. We enjoyed it. One of the best parts of the day, I came home to a nice clean apartment! It was a nice surprise.
