She's crawling!

It finally happened! After months of thinking it'd be any day Jacquelyn started crawling.  She has been getting up on her knees since about 5 months and right at 7 months she started to move her knees.  She'd been getting up on all fours at one point.  When she first started looked like a little bunny hopping!  She would push her bum up in the air and then hop a little.  It was pretty cute!

I caught her in action, but with out the video camera. You can kinda get the gist of it with the pictures! She loves her freedom now.  She will disappear into rooms so quick.  She especially loves going into Everett's room and playing with all her toys.  This is probably Everett's least favorite part of her new mile stone!

And she got it!

Computer Crash

Just before Thanksgiving our computer crashed.  It wasn't even 2 years old!  We were hoping it was the hard drive so we could just replace it. Unfortunately it wasn't.  The motherboard quit and we were told it's cheaper to buy a new computer then to replace it.  So for the past two months we have been using Todd's old laptop.  We have been so use to a new fast computer that going to an older slower one has been a little difficult. But we're making do for the time being!

Since we're using Todd's computer our memory card, for our camera, doesn't fit in any of his memory card slots.  So for the past month and a half I have been trying to be diligent at coming and writing things so I don't forget them.  That way when I could download the pictures I could just add them.   I was finally able to go and download the pictures at work and get everything updated! So if you want to see more of what has being going on with us keep clicking the older posts button.  There have been quite a few!

Pictures

I've decided it was time for me to try and take more pictures of the kids.    Just playing around being themselves. I realized I have a ton of Everett when he was a baby, but not nearly as many as Jacquelyn.  I've been told that happens, but I'm hoping from here on out I'll be much better.  Todd gave me a book to help me learn how to actually use my camera so hopefully my picture taking skills will improve along the way too.  I want to remember this time with them and I want them to be able to see themselves as babies and toddlers. They are growing up way too fast.  It feels like not that long ago Jacquelyn was born and now she's crawling (yes it finally happened after 2 1/2 months!)

When I first decided to make this goal it was just Everett up.  So I got him in all his glory. Running around like a wild child.  He loves to run!  Especially when you ask him to do something:)  He runs in the opposite direction.

He even settled down enough to take a picture with me!

These are just random ones I took of them around the house.

Everett loves chocolate pudding.  He's usually not bad when he eats it, but the other day when he got down I didn't even realize how messy his face was!

Our little Miss Jacquelyn. I love this picture of her! It was when she turned 7 months.

Yesterday the kids looked cute all ready for church.  So I thought I'd try to get a couple of them together.  It's hard enough to get pictures of 1 kid sitting still.  Then to add another!  I either had a good picture of one or the other.  But I love the ones of just Everett.  He looks like such a little stud.

I have no pictures of me and Jacquelyn. So Todd got one of us.

Then we decided to add Everett.

They both look so cute in this one, me on the other hand....

Hopefully I'll stick with this little goal of mine so we can look back on these moments and remember the good times.

What will be next?!

I don't remember playing with a computer till I was older.  I can't remember how old, but I mostly just remember using it when I had to do school work.  And back there you didn't use it that much for school.  I know for sure that I didn't get my own cell phone till I was 18.  Now a days things are a little different!  Everett is only 2 1/2 and already knows how to play on the computer.  His new favorite things is playing the "alphabet" is what he calls it.

And my 7 month old plays with cell phones! I can only imagine what their kids will have when they're their age!
