Jacquelyn's Stroller

For Jacquelyn's birthday Everett picked out a little stroller for her.  We thought she would love it! She does, but her brother usually ends up taking it over.  So she hasn't showed too much interest in it until recently.  Everett still tries to take it, but Jacquelyn's starting to really stand up for herself now.  Today I was trying to get things picked up so I just put Jacquelyn in it so I could move more stuff into the living room at once.  This must of been the coolest thing cause the next thing I know Everett is in it.
So Jacquelyn takes hold of this opportunity and starts to push him.  It was pretty cute.
I thought Jacquelyn would like a turn so I made the two switch, but she was perfectly content pushing.  She tried getting out immediately. So Everett got back in and it was back to her pushing him.

Throwing Rocks

We have a bunch of irrigation ditches around us.  We also have a bunch of rocks.  Put the two together and we are usually having to throw the rocks into the water.  Whenever we go on walks we stop across the street and throw some rocks and then continue on until we reach the river.  Where we throw more rocks in.  Jacquelyn is generally in the stroller and watches Everett. Until today.  She got to join in on the fun.

She had so much fun!  She scared me to death when she was trying to look over the bridge, but I think that was her favorite part.  I love being able to see her and Everett do more and more together.

New Wheels

We took Everett's bike out for a ride today.  He is getting the hang of peddling, but he still struggles.  He legs are still a tad too short, but he's getting there.  When we first started riding Jacquelyn would try to come up and push the back of the bike, but Everett would get a little upset.  He just wanted to do it on his own.  So we kept her away while he kept practicing.
After awhile of riding, he grew tired and started asking Jacquelyn to push him.  It was pretty cute.  He would say "Jack push me Jack".  And she would come over and start pushing him!

Everett's 3rd Birthday

Everett's birthday was yesterday and we had a blast!  We have been talking about it for quite awhile.  When he woke we sang and he got a donut breakfast.  I asked what he wanted for breakfast and he told me Mac and Cheese.  He finally settled on donuts!
We go ready for day and then headed out for work and daycare.  He got to have a little birthday party there where he had Lightning McQueen cupcakes.  Last night we had a little birthday party for him.  We just had some friends and family and played at the park, ate some pizza, and then of course had cake and ice cream and opened presents.  Everett had a blast and loved ever minute.  He especially loved all the attention all day!
He wanted a McQueen cake and that's what he got.  It didn't turn out great, but he loved it and to me that was all that mattered.

He of course loved opening presents.  He was so excited about everything and wanted everything opened right then.
His last present rolled in and he was thrilled.  We have been talking about getting a bike for ever!  His Grammy and Grandpa ended up getting him a sweet Schwinn Roadster.  Everett kept calling it his motorcycle.
I love birthdays and it was so fun seeing Everett get so excited.  Anytime you mentioned it was his birthday his face would light up and he would just smile!  We are so grateful for all the family and friends that came and celebrated with us.  Everett truly enjoyed having everyone there and playing with his cousin's and friends.

Bear Lake

Last weekend we went down to Bear Lake to visit some of Todd's old friends he grew up with.  We had such a good time.  It was nice to get out from the norm and do something different.  While we were at the lake Everett was buried in the sand and ended up loving it!! He was a little leery in the beginning, but got so excited.  He had it done 3 times!

After the lake we spent time hanging out and then got go get Bear Lake's Famous Raspberry Shakes.  Everett had a blast hanging out with new friends.  Todd's friend Dave has a little boy that is just a couple months younger named Kenny.  Kenny became Everett's best friend.  When we would go back to the condo Everett kept telling us we were going to Kenny's house.  He still talks about him and how he wants to see Kenny.  It was fun getting to see him have a real buddy to hang out with.
