Jacquelyn's Birthday Part 2

For Jacquelyn's birthday we were going to have a little party, with family, at our house, but due to some circumstances we decided to move it out to my parents.  It was easier and the kids had a blast with all their cousins and swimming in the pool.  My parents bought a slip and slide and some other fun water toys.  The kids had such a good time.  Jacquelyn was a little hesitant with the slip and slide first, but ended up loving it in the end.

After our fun day of swimming came the presents.  Jacquelyn's still not quite use to all that excitement, but she had so much fun and loved everything she got.  A new baby, baby bed, swim pool, swimming toys, bubbles, and a brand new pink bike.  Now she doesn't have to fight with her brother to ride his!  Everything had to be opened right away of course.
We weren't able to sing happy birthday before everyone left, so we did it with just the four of use.  She got herself a Strawberry Dream Cake.  She loves her strawberries and this was full of them!  Although her favorite part was the frosting.  When she went to blow out the candle the first time she got a little too close and felt the heat.  So every other time she would get up to blow, but she go back down.  We finally had to hold her in place and let her blow the candle out.

Jacquelyn's 2nd Birthday

Our sweet baby girl turned 2 today! She is growing up way to fast.  She amazes me everyday.  A few things about our little 2 year old:

- 24 pounds (can't remember her height)
- Can talk up a storm
- Says new words everyday and is starting to make phrases with them
- Some of her favorite foods : strawberries, bananas, fish, milk, hot dogs, crackers, cereal, and candy.  She could eat sweets all day
- Loves playing with babies
- Great at going to sleep at night. She'll just go right in her bed and lay there
- Moved to a toddler bed a few weeks ago
- Moves non-stop
- Is a little diva
- She knows she has us (maybe more me) wrapped around her little fingers
- Always wants to do what her big brother is doing

Our local library put on a "Bubble Day" in town, so we decided to head out there for her special day.  She LOVED it and is now constantly talking about bubbles. Her and Everett were all over the place.

We love our sweet little girl and are so grateful to have her in our lives.  She brings so much love, excitement, drama, and cuddles to our lives.
