2012 East Idaho State Fair

The fair crept up on me this year.  I couldn't believe it was already September! We have been going the past couple years and decided last minute that we had to go again.  With Todd graduating in December we're not quite sure what the future has in store for us, so we've been making sure we try and do things for the possibly the last time.  So we of course couldn't skip out this year!

We started with our usual funnel cake before we took our walk around.  They set up the food court perfectly so when you try to get to everything else you have to go through and see all the different fair foods.  After eating our funnel cake our eyes caught the fried cheese curds and we couldn't pass the up!  They weren't my favorite, but Todd loved them.  Until they started to really settle in his stomach later :)

After our food grazing we walked the all the animals that are there for competition. This is Everett's favorite part.  He got so excited and would just start laughing. 

 The sheep were pretty friendly, but a little too friendly for Jack.  One started to try and lick her.  The moment she saw the sheep's head stick through the gate she couldn't contain herself.  Needless to say we quickly moved on.

 Next up was the petting zoo.  Of course another favorite of Everett's.  This yes Ms. Jack got to get out and enjoy the fun.  Apparently walking through the petting zoo was ok for her unlike walking through the arena of animals!

We had such a good time.  Despite the drive it's always worth going.  Especially seeing Everett with all those animals!
