Hide and Seek

The kids have found new hiding spots.  Jacquelyn loves to go through my cabinets and take everything out.  It's usually just been my dishrags, but she found the cabinet with the pots and pans and preceeded to take each and everyone out.  Once this was done both her and Everett found that it's the perfect size for them to go and be able to sit.  They had such a blast!

My Handsome Sous Chef

Our days get kind of repetitive around here these days.  I try to do knew things, but I feel like a lame mom.  We don't do the artsy crafts or projects. Maybe someday, but I feel like we're still trying to get into some sort of routine since moving.  Anyway, our days get repetitive and tough.  Everett likes to be doing something constantly. I mean constantly. And he's to the point where he has to be in my presence constantly. So needless to say we run out of a lot of things to do. Today I was trying to decide how to make our afternoons a little more bearable.  Come dinner time things get chaotic.  So in my attempts to make it a little easier I got Everett to join me. Lately he's a hit or miss with things, but today he liked the idea. He got to shred a carrot. I was going to have him do more, but he was quite content with the carrot!

Warmer Days

We have been LOVING this warmer weather.  Every chance we get we try and get outside for a little bit.  I am especially loving it when I see the temps in Idaho.  Honestly I miss the people and friends, but not the place. I thought I would miss more then I do.  Anyway, the next few days are suppose to be chilly and rainy so we took all the chances we could today to be outside.  We went on a walk to the playground in the morning and this afternoon we just hung out side the house.

After riding bikes for awhile Everett decided he needed to bring ALL his cars outside.  I thought he went in to get a few, but when he came out he had all of them.
I was playing with the camera and wanted a cute picture of Everett, but all he could do was be silly.  He would just dance around and give goofy faces. Crazy kid.
They were especially excited when they saw Dad coming home.

Quiet/Nap Time

Everett has given up naps.  He use to take one every few days, but as of late there's nothing.  Which is fine.  He goes to bed easier at nights that way.  So while Jacquelyn takes a nap he gets a quiet time.  I usually have him in there for an hour or so and then we do stuff together before Jacquelyn wakes up.  Well today I noticed things got a little quiet.  Everett's quiet times are normally quiet. I don't think this kid has a noise control.  Anyway, when I went to check on him I found him passed out.  Not only just passed out, but passed out on his train tracks! Poor kid he had to have been real tired.
