Lately Everett has been striving for so much attention. He has a hard time with Jacquelyn and the fact that we share our time with her. I've been trying to be better at giving him the attention he needs so he knows that we still love him. When Jacquelyn's down I try to have more one on one time with him. Just spending time with him. As he's getting older it's getting quite comical. Most of the time we watch TV together, or play with his cars, do a craft, or just hang out. Tonight Todd had to go to mutual and I had just put Jacquelyn down. So what did we do?! We ate cake. I made an angel food cake yesterday so we sat and tried finishing it off. I tried to get him to take pictures with me, but it took me too long to get the hang of holding the camera out. So by the time the camera started clicking he was goofing around. We had a good time though. Ate cake, read books, sang songs, and then got ready for bed. I love this boy. Despite his rebellious attitude at times he can always make me smile.

An Afternoon at the Park
Everett asks to go to the park pretty much every day. Seriously...everyday. This past week, we have had some pretty crummy weather. It has either been extremely windy, cold, or raining. No park like weather at all. When I heard today was suppose to be pretty decent I told Everett we could go to the park after he goes to Ms. Julia's (where he goes for daycare). He was so excited. So after work I picked the kiddos up and we headed to the park. He was in Heaven. We've been to the park with Jacquelyn before, but she has always been too small. So today was the first time she got to play and her enthusiasm easily matched that of her brothers. She played on the slide with him, crawled around in the grass, and spun on the little spinny thing. Sorry I don't know what to call it!
We spent quite a bit of time there and both kids got their park fix. Jacquelyn was ready for her nap and surprisingly enough when I told Everett it was time to go he said he was ready. He usually wants to stay longer! We are ready for more warm weather so we can spend more time outside. Both of these kids could spend forever in the sun!
