Contacts

For the past 3 months or so I have been living in my glasses. It all started with the allergies. My eyes burned so bad I could never wear them. Then at the beginning of July I went to put in my last pair and lo and behold one of them didn't even have a prescription. I thought I was gong blind until I put it both eyes and realized it was the contact and not me. So I decided that I would try just going from contacts to my glasses all the time. Sadly half way through July I decided I couldn't do it. I actually enjoyed not wearing contacts, but at the same time I missed them.

I ordered them three weeks ago and they finally arrived yesterday! I was so excited. One Hour Optical kept getting the wrong address. They sent them to the right address, but without an apartment number. When they got an apartment number they used the one from our old apartment in Thornton. I finally called this week and found out what the problem was and the next day they arrived! After getting them I put a pair in and as I walked out of the bathroom Todd goes "You look weird without your glasses." Yeah I know he's romantic.

It's just nice not having something on my face constantly. Todd's not randomly poking his finger on my glasses so I get a smudge anymore. I don't know if anyone else feels the same, but I just feel like I can see better in my contacts. Things are a little clearer. Ahhh...it's so nice to have them back again.
