Revamped

Todd is about finished with another one of his birthday presents. My parents gave him some money to get whatever he wished. This is where I have decided that Todd and I are very different. When I get birthday money like that I usually go buy clothes and shoes. Todd on the other hand has different ideas on spending his money.

As most know Todd got a new bike a couple months ago. It was his "dream bike". Well, he's decided to add a few minor changes to it. Here's what he originally had:

Now with the addition of this:

He now has a "cooler" bike:

Beautiful huh?! Joe and Debbie (Todd's parents) came to visit last night, and Joe spent most of the day today helping Todd fix it up. We had to go back down to the bike shop today, with the actual bike, and while we were leaving Todd mentioned that he already had 3 compliments. One guy even got out of his car to tell Todd how sweet it was, got back in and drove away. Yes, people are encouraging him!

Now while riding it to school he doesn't have to turn and look behind to see if a car's coming, he has some sweet mirrors. He was like a kid in a candy store when he was picking everything out. Now all he needs to find is his vintage speedometer and he'll be set.

That bike is sweet, you need one of those long vintage headlamps for it. I'm jealous
